Europe style for Wear Resistant - Sand Dredging Pump SG/150E – Minerals Detail:

Pump Model: SG/150E (8/6E-G)

The SG range of dredge and gravel pumps is designed to provide continuous pumping of highly abrasive slurries containing large particles at high maintained efficiencies with low maintenance and ownership costs.

SG range of sand and gravel pumps are installed with 3-vane impellers, which will allow larger stones and rocks to pass. The shaft seal is recommended to be gland packing seal. And for Gland sealed pumps:

Check periodically gland seal water supply and discharge. Always maintain a very small amount of clean water leakage along the shaft by regularly adjusting the gland. When gland adjustment is no longer possible replace
complete gland pack. Maintenance personnel should inspect gland packings at regular intervals, not longer than six months (1800 hours) to determine when packings need to be changed.

The impeller fitted to our SG heavy duty gravel pumps is closed type with three vanes, which allow the impeller to pass large rocks. The heavy duty dredge pump, is specifically designed for low head duties such as hopper dredging and barge loading.
